Hotel At The Black Star is a newly opened 3 star hotel located in the historical centre - in the Old Town of Prague, only 250 metres from the Charles Bridge and just 2 minutes walk from the Old Town Square. It is an ideal location right in the heart of the Old Town.

The building of the Black Star is proclaimed within the Prague cultural preservation which was listed on the UNESCO world heritage list in 1993.

Rooms and Accommodation

Hotel At the Black Star Prague offers a luxurious accommodation in 6 suites, each up to four people. Each suite consists of at least two rooms (usually of the bedroom, living room with sat TV) and bathroom.

Four of them (De luxe suites) have fully equipped kitchen (fridge, electric cooker, dish washing machine and fast-boiling kettle). Suites without the kitchen are filled out with a fridge.

Wine Bar

The Wine bar evokes the building's rich history, which was once a centre of wine culture. In addition to a wide and interesting variety of Italian and French vintages, our offerings include selected wines from the New World. Recommended domestic offerings are also available for your degustation.

A selected range of fine Italian and French cheeses and Italian culinary offerings are available to complement your choices.

History

First reference of the building dates back to the period around 1400. Originally gothic building was divided into two parts in 1538. The left part underwent a broad renaissance reconstruction. In 1622 the parts were again integrated, at this time in the late renaissance style.

The interiors pass through the minor changes in classism style. Downstairs and the cellars are almost everywhere ceiled by different types of wagon vaults. Lastly, the attic floor was built after the renaissance gable.
