Czechoslovakia was established in 1918. Just 21 years later the dream ended as the Nazi occupation began. In 1948 there was a communist coup and the whole country began to stagnate. In 1968 Communist tanks invaded Prague. The Velvet Revolution brought new hope, but there are now those who believe that is was a little too 'Velvety':World War 1 and the fall of the Austrian empire-The establishment of Czechoslovakia in 1918-Betrayal: the Munich agreement of 1938 and the Nazi protectorate-The assassination of Heydrich and the Nazi revenge-The Prague Uprising-Communism: from the Stalin era through the Prague Spring to the Velvet Revolution-Václav Havel and the reality of democracy 12 years on-We will visit the spots where the crucial events took place and make reference to rare archive material

We request for payment of our services in advance when the customer meets our guide as we want you to feel comfortable with the person taking care of you and on the other hand, certain packages require a dress code to be respected. The payment should be in Euros otherwise the following exchange rates are applicable:
