Description
Water dam Nechranice lays on the river Ohre between the historical towns Kadan, Chomutov and Zatec. It's noted for its longest sheded dike in the middle Europe, which is 3280 m long. The watersurface itself has cca. 1300 ha.
Today this area passes an important development of tourism. Nechranice water dam, whose south beach lays in the area of Vikletice, offers in these days a lot of camping sites with the posibility of accomodation in the own tents, bungalows, chalets and caravans with all the comfort.
It's an optimal lokality for a peaceful recreation, fishing and water sports. Water surface has ideal wind conditions for jachting and surfing.
