Zoological Gardens in Czech Republic
Brno
Set in a stunning 65 hectares of land on Monk's Mountain in Brno, the zoo has more than 720 birds, mammals, reptiles and fishes belonging to more than 178 different species.
Decin
Our ZOO is situated on the hill called Pastyrska stena. In fact it is one of the first things you notice when arrive at Decin.

The Zoo offers the classis Garden with all the Animal Houses and more than 2,400 animals in exhibits (during the open hours).
Hodonin
The Zoological Garden of Hodonin lies on the plain of the town's edge in the floated wood. In front of the entrance there is a parking place, in the area there is a children's playground, possibility of buying souvenirs and refreshment at disposal.
Chomutov
The Podkrusnohorsky zoopark in Chomutov, the largest zoological exhibition in Bohemia, with forested slopes, spacious grassy runs, and extensive water surfaces, is near the town's centre, not far from Kamencove Lake.
Jihlava
The zoo is situated in a picturesque valley of the Jihlavka River. Visitors can see sheets of water, afforested grades, meadows and rocks. All of this is just a few minutes (10 minutes walking time) from the town centre.
Zlin
The Zlín Zoo is not built of cages, but it is a modern bio-park with spacious natural exhibition of animals.
Liberec
The City of Liberec is situated in the basin between the Jizera Mountains and the Jested Ridge and is interwoven by the River Nisa.
Hluboka nad Vltavou
There is a smaller zoological garden, originally oriented at traditional game, since 1972 specialized in the fauna of Sumava and Europe.
Olomouc
Olomouc ZOO is situated in the beautiful environment of Svaty Kopecek, eleven kilometres from the town centre. The area of the ZOO is 42,5 hectares.

At the beginning of the nineties Ostrava Zoo began to fall behind other zoos in the Czech Republic in terms of techniques and facilities.

Probably the most popular attractions of the ZOO are the ape house and the seal house. The ZOO was founded in 1951.
