Description
The Hluboka nad Vltavou zoo lies near a town called Hluboka nad Vltavou, next to a Hunting lodge. Thanks to its position on a flat piece of land next to a large lake, you can enjoy leisurely countryside walks.
Parking is immediately in front of the entrance to the zoo, where you will find refreshments refreshments (except winter months) and have a chance to buy some souvenirs.
The area of the zoo: in total 6 hectares - the zoo compound is 1, 8 hectares in size, a further 3 hectares is for further development.
The zoological garden is connected to the National network of stations for injured and handicapped animals, which is co-ordinated by the Czech Association of Conservationists. We arrange specialised first aid treatment and other treatment to animals that have been found injured or to other handicapped animals living in the wild.
