Rooms and Accommodation
DUM hotel offers 202 comfortably furnished rooms in a suite design, i.e. a hallway, living room, bedroom, separate bathroom and a toilet. Some rooms are barrier-free. Four rooms are business suites with an internet connection. All rooms include a color TV with a satellite reception, a direct-dial telephone, refrigerator and a room safe. All rooms are secured by an electronic card lock.
The safety of our guests is our priority, that is why it is provided by a professional security agency. The rooms are secured with the electronic locks. The safety features include fire fighting measures. The hotel is equipped with the smoke detectors in all rooms as well as in all social premises, the individual hotel rooms are separated from staircase and elevators by fire-resistant doors.
Apart from the offer of accommodation and board the hotel offers leisure options, such as tennis courts, a squash hall, bowling, golf course, fitness center, massages, solarium, shopping center, pizzeria, movie-theatres, casinos. All of this equipment is within a short distance.
The DUM hotel has been included in the three-star category ***. The requirements for the standard of equipment and the provision of services gradually grow in this category of a hotel as well. In order to keep the standard, the hotel goes through refurbishments and renovations, which have as its goal to continue in the improvement of the equipment of social rooms, hotel rooms, level of the technical equipment, upgrade and improvement of the services for the hotel guests. First, reconstructions of technological networks in the rooms have been performed followed by a complex refurbishment and additional development of the restaurant space, which thus grew to a double as opposed to the original condition. This reconstruction included the equipment of all restaurant areas with air-conditioning. In 2006, a modernization of all rooms has been completed, consisting in the reconstruction of sanitary installations and bathrooms, laying of new carpets and replacement of movable furnishings. Within the frame of the reconstructions, modernization and renovation of elevators have been performed, the last stage of which, which concerns only the modernization of the technical facilities will take place this year resulting in the increased safety of the hotel guests. The fact, that the modernizations do not occur only inside the hotel, is well documented by the new paving of the area outside the hotel, including the roofing. Of course, the reconstruction and modernization continue also in this year. From the guest´s point of view, the reconstruction of the staircase is the most visible. All these activities would not however not bring the desired effect, if it were not for the constant improvement of the work of the hotel employees and their approach to the hotel guests. That is why, the employees undergo regular training in compliance with the quality control system requirements.
Restaurant
The guests as well as passers-by can use the hotel restaurant divided into several separate zones based on their orientation. The main large restaurant with the 200 seating capacity serves predominantly breakfasts, lunches and buffet-style dinners. Changing the table arrangement, this restaurant offers space for banquettes, training seminars and other social events. Combined with the second hotel restaurant on the same floor, the whole area is suitable for holding balls. The second restaurant has a capacity of 40 seats and is predominantly designed for the needs of the individual clients. Of course, small personal celebrations may be held here too. Both restaurants offer a wide selection of the Czech and international cuisine. The chefs are prepared to set up and cook a special menu at a special request of a guest. The entrance hall of the hotel has a lobby bar Septim the intimate friendly atmosphere of which is predetermined for a nice enjoyment. The atmosphere of this lobby bar is also suitable for business meetings or general friendly meetings. As we say in other sections of this site, all the areas of the restaurants are air-conditioned.
