The metropolis of the Moravian-Silesian region is, with its area, the second largest and with the number of its residents the third largest city in the Czech Republic. It has got a very advantageous strategic position - it is located about 10 kilometres south from the borders with Poland and 50 kilometres west of the borders with Slovakia.

Although there are various clubs and discos all over the city, allow us to point out one of the most talked-about streets - Stodolní Street, known as the citys "clubland", with roughly seventy thriving clubs open till the early morning hours for your entertainment.
In the clubs, which are located in almost every building along this street, you can spend your free time reading, listening to music, dancing or chatting with friends. Each of them offers a unique atmosphere and focuses on various styles of music - there are rock, Latin, techno and house, underground and other types of clubs here.
The much appreciated Havana Club, Mexicana Musica Club, Desperado - El Tequila Café Bar De Las Americas, Bernies Traditional Irish Pub and Bastila Pub give the street a very cosmopolitan flair. On this street you can certainly feel the dynamics of the city!
Younger visitors with a taste for the night life can take in the over 70 different venues situated on Ostravas Stodolní street.
