This castle that originated in 14th century was bought by F.F.d'Este in 1887.
This nobleman used all the mansion as his family residence until his death in Sarajevo which started the World War I.
In castle interiors there are not only Ferdinands large art collections, numerous statues and pictures on St.Georges theme but you can also admire one of the worlds most extensive collection of historic weapons.
