The Ungelt grounds, after which the Hotel is named, have been a symbol of hospitality and safety in Prague for over a thousand years. In the past this area served as a bazar and custom-house where Merchant bringing goods into Prague paid a duty called \"ungelt\". The entire court underwent major renovation in the 90īs of the 20th century, after which it become one of the most sought -out destinations of visitors to the historical center of Prague. The completely renovated stylish \"boutique\" Hotel Ungelt offers unique accomodations in its six suites in the hitorical center of Prague. The oldest part of the current hotel is Romnesque dating form the 12th century.
